I hatched
4 silkie/cochin/wyondotte crosses
2 cochin/wyodotte/easter egger crosses

The father is a bantam cochin/wyandotte cross

2 from the silkie cross mommas have very short wing feathers and 2 have very long wing feathers.

Both chick from the easter egger mommas ave very long wing feathers.

The short answer is no.

Feather sexing only works for chicks that are specifically bred for that trait, by using a fast feathering male over a slow feathering female.

The 1st 4 chicks arevthe silkie/cochin/wyandotte crosses

The last 4 are the 2 easter egger/cochin/wyandotte crosses.
