Hey All,
I know this has been posted a few times, but I wanted to see if people had videos of getting their chickens to purr (in the happy way, not the "HAWK! BE COOL!" way).
We've been nursing one of our hens, Chex, back to health after she was attacked by two dogs a month ago. She's almost healed after a month of bandage changes and honey. Anyway, my gf started petting her and she started purring, which was the first time I've ever heard them do it out of contentment.
Here's my video:
(You may need to turn up the volume to hear it).
Post one (or make a video) if you have it. I'd be interested to see/hear how often this happens.
