I know there is a forum area for this but I got I've noticed some chicken "experts" are rude when you are asking for basic information or make a mistake. I thought my white chickens with pale yellow legs and huge red combs were white leghorns but I asked to be sure and the responses made me feel like an idiot. I was afraid to ask what my red and multi colored chickens were after that. I, hoping my neighbors here will be kinder to my ignorance. Here are so,e pics of my unknown girls. Any help would be appreciated. They were from TSC and some were adopted from a nearby neighbor.

The red one is for sure a hen! Shes a red sex link! The pure white ones look like leghorns and I'm not sure about the brown and white one... Hope i helped! Good luck!

That's where my giant eggs come from. I get all different sizes and colors. Now I know who lays those. I posted pics of my white chickens in a leghorn thread and got jumped on and told they were white rocks. This may be true but the white chicken in my post above looks different than all the other white chickens I have. Maybe she just doesn't dirt bath like the others. They all have really large combs too. I asked what the difference between the breeds were and someone referred me to a Wikipedia page.....thanks!!!! Except for yellower legs they all look the same to me. I can't imagine I got one white leghorn mixed in with white rocks from TSC. Do you think that is possible?
I was also told leghorns lay white eggs. I do get one or two almost white eggs daily. They are off white with a slight peach colored undertone. All my other eggs are varying shades of brown.

WOW thats a lot if eggs!! White egg layers will have white-greenish ear lobes. And now that i look again they must be white rocks. And YES red sex links are my absolute favorite chicken ever! They lay very consistently! And HUGE! Wait untill they begin there second year of laying! The eggs get BIGGER! i cant even close the egg cartons! The only downside to red links is that because there so productive they usually dont lay for as long as heritage breeds. But i have a 10 year old one as a pet so it doesn't really matter. Im sorry i couldn't help with the others... But i love the red links! And know them very well.

Here are the new babies getting used to the yard and my other girls. Also I put in a picture of them all standing together so you can see how I have this one really white chicken. I'm not sure if she's just the outcast, or if she likes to be clean. We call her Purity.

See the two side by side, the one on the left is the super white chicken. She is flighty and vocal. My others are more mellow.
