Hi - I'd love some help in determining breed.

We think our rooster is an Easter Egger - we got him from a local feed store and they sold him as an Ameracauna which from what I've read is common..?

Then the two hens - the first one/darker one we think is a Production Red. She lays lots of HUGE brown eggs. The lighter one - is she a Star?

Yep, your guesses are right.

I LOVE the Easter Egger's comb - It is so neat!

We incubated 17 eggs, 15 hatched, and we lost one about a month ago (no idea why). They are now 3 1/2 months old. All of them have the fluffy neck feathers like our rooster - does this mean they will not have wattles?

And does this one look like a hen or a rooster? With the long neck feathers coming in I thought maybe a rooster, but there's no sign of long tail feathers yet.

- been lurking and learning for a while. Thanks for confirming on the breeds! I'm hoping since our rooster is an EE, that the hens with green legs might lay green eggs....we had some green eggers last year (before a predator problem

) and I loved getting those green and bluish eggs.

DT - thanks for the clarification, I didn't think about the wattles being there but not visible!
