I'm new to this site. so hello hope you have all had a good week, I'm sure I'll have lots of questions to ask!
We bought a mother and a chick 10 weeks ago and we want to know if the chick is male or female. Can anyone let me know?

One of his parents was probably 1/2 silkie and the other was most likely full (though poor quality).

You need two copies of the silkie feather gene to make the feathers appear like this.
