Can you keep ringneck pheasants in an open air pen as long as theyre wings are clipped?

Sure, you can 'free range' them.....one time!

Moonshiner's article is spot on. And 007Sean already posted the first thought that came to my mind.

If a pheasant gets loose, and you get really lucky, it'll hang around long enough to recapture it.

Even with wings clipped, it'll still be able to scale most fences. And then it'll be easy prey for whatever is outside.
