can you keep showgirls with silkies?

If you get a showgirl roo and put him with your silkie hens you have the chance to make plenty showgirl babies

yes u can keep them together. it's how we improve our sg lines to give them better traights and quality. you breed them back to the silkie to get the quality ya need in the sg's. sg's originated by crossing a silkie to a turken. i have pure silkie pens and i have sg/silkie pens. they all act just like a silkie does. if u breed a silkie to a sg u will hatch 50% silkies and 50% sg's. a sg to sg mateing usually thows a 20-30% of silkies.
