can you make a hen hatch?

Ok so I know this HAS to be posted someplace but I cant find it.... I have a small backyard flock, (10 hens 3 ducks) I like incubating as a hobby but I REALLY want to try and get one of my hens to hatch some eggs... do I wait for them to go broody or do I just buy the eggs and put them in the nest? Any help would be awesome.

You pretty much have to wait, there's no sure-fire way to make a hen go broody.

Some breeds are more prone to broodiness, what breeds do you have?

No, you can't make them go broody. Some breeds are more likely to go broody than others. Check out your breeds on Henderson's.
