Can you mix ages

As the title reads, can you mic ages of baby chicks? By that i mean, can i put 1 week olds with 3 week olds? The place i’m hopefully getting baby chicks from doesn’t have the same ages of all the breeds i want…

Especially if you are artificially brooding, 1 week olds mixed with 3 week olds should be okay, as long as you don't have any super aggressive. I'd also make sure I've got a fairly even mix in numbers.

The only ages I find really difficult to mix are day olds with week or two week olds. Babies need TLC and lots of naps while the others are crazy kindergarteners running around and flying disturbing the babes.

Once they get past the cute chubby fuzzy toddle, and start to jet around, you can mix ages within a couple of weeks.

Yes i’m artificially brooding! I’m hoping by the time we’re ready they’ll have all the ones i want the same age but incase they don’t I just wanted to be sure i could mix them! Thank you!
