Can you put ducks and chickens in the same coop at night??

I have two baby mallards that are a little over a week old.. Eventually i think im going to get a few silkie bantam chickens. My question is can i put them all in the same coop when they get older?

Ducks and chickens can live in the same coop together, but I personally don't recommend it. Ducks make a total mess out of everything- that includes the water that your chickens will have to drink.

Back when I had only one coop, I made do with providing water for the ducks on the ground, and then putting another waterer on a raised platform that only the chickens could fly up to.
