I'm not exactly sure who laid it. I only have three types of hens, RIR, Barred Rocks, and Black sex links. I really think it was one of my RIR because they are a little bigger than my others, but that is just a guess. I have gotten quite a few double yolks since they have started laying and they are always in the same box, so I am assuming it's the same hen.

I only have BRs so no guess work here, I am surprised at the size of their eggs

I think all of these special/different type eggs are so interesting! Not that I want my girls to go through any discomfort or anything, but I'd like to have a hen that laid cool eggs

I have had striped eggs, daily double yolkers, a perfectly good egg inside of a soft shell egg, calcium clumps...u name it. Just waiting to hatch an alien now!!
