Not sure about your particular situation but in some breeds yes, others no.

I've hatched EE's and I can usually tell around 5-6 weeks old (however there are some exceptions that take longer to tell), BCM's I could tell the day they hatched and JG's 7 weeks later and I am still trying to figure it out
