Can you splint a broken leg on hen?

We have a banty hen with a broken leg! Can it be fixed? Can she be one-legged hen? Need advice.

My Uncle Clydie had a one legged rooster. He was the fastest meanest rooster I have ever seen.

You may want to try using the search function above and search "broken leg" or "splint". I read somewhere here that a man made a splint for a chick using a drinking straw. Not sure about older birds though.

I did with a rooster, used sticks and electrical tape lol.
