I have 13 barnyard mixes that are 14-15 days old, they are growing so fast but I have been noticing that some of them are already getting big combs, can you tell on your barnyard mixes what they are as 2 week olds?

Often times if they are developing large red combs at an early age, they are probably roos.

What kinds of mixes do you have? Sometimes that helps, too, to know whether or not they can be sexed.

I would assume it depends on the mixes.
I have 6 mix babies right now and one that I know shows up early on is the ones who have the leghorn in them somewhere showed larger combs early on and even little nubs for spurs within first couple week...but those are mainly it to tell for sure for me.

I think the person had easter eggers, rhode island reds, black cochins, barred rocks, and some mutts
