can you tell if this egg was fertile?

This egg only shows a blastogerm...no blastodisc. The germ cell is waiting for the male part and it never received it, thus no defined circle around it.

I"m waiting till friday or saturday and I'll candle them again. I need a brighter more defined light I don't have any lamps around so I need a bright little flashlight or i'll go dig up my husbands work light and rig it up with some cardboard

I candled all of the eggs tonight (all 29) nine of them were obviously not developing and I cracked all of the nine and there was no development.

The remaining 20 are dark, some of them had obvious veining but some of the shells were too dark or thick to see through and just had dark areas

I have to say even though the seller told me to expect only a 40% hatch rate i'm kinda bummed that there are already ten eggs from my batch that didn't do anything its kind of sad

although the candling really got my 11 year old interested in the chicks and eggs so that was a bonus
