can you tell me what i got here??

my girlfriend has a trio of these, i guess. the eggs are fertile and one is setting. they are all white, all three....
best pics i good get. she got them from an auction last fall, i think.

i think i just answered my own question..... embden.... they have blue eyes. but on feather site they have much lighter legs then these.... the are orange???

i just looked in my POCKETFUL OF POULTRY book and it is an embden, or at least the closest to.

ok, since we are on the same page... what is their temperment? the ones she has are friendly enough. my husband says "what the heck are you going to do with that goose egg when it hatches? they are mean and nasty!"

according to the Holderreads' website, the nasty disposition can be tamed (depending on the goose) by working calmly around them and not hand-feeding them.

I have 1 embden, he is okay with me and my dad, but he does not like my 5 year old at all. He hasn't bit him yet, but I think it's only a matter of time. He does charge and hiss at him, but so far that's all he does. He doesn't seem aggressive with strangers, but he will stand next to 'his' wagon and scream his fool head off! I don't think they are as aggressive as I've always thought.
