Can you use an egg carton in the incubator..............??

Not to confuse you all,we have been hatching for quite some time now.We are trying to find an way not to have the eggs knocked around while the others are hatching.The hatch that we just had in the past two days several were stuck in the eggs BC of the ones hatching knocked them over where they couldn't get out of the shells.
????My Question????We are thinking when the eggs go on lockdown.is it possible to just put the eggs in the cardboard cartons so they won't get knocked around????

Yup just cut out the bottoms of the cartons so the air flow is good.

Does it matter if the pointy end is up or down????????????

Another benefit is that you can put MORE eggs in the bator this way!

How do you rotate them in there? Pointy end down and then up, just making sure to have it down come lock down? Thanks!

Ahhhhhhhh! The light bulb turns on and I get it! That's great- waaaaay better that what I've been doing! So glad I joined BYC....
