Not to confuse you all,we have been hatching for quite some time now.We are trying to find an way not to have the eggs knocked around while the others are hatching. The hatch that we just had in the past two days several were stuck in the eggs BC of the ones hatching knocked them over where they couldn't get out of the shells.
????My Question????We are thinking when the eggs go on lockdown.is it possible to just put the eggs in the cardboard cartons so they won't get knocked around????

ANY SUGGESTIONS:caf

I incubate and hatch in cartons.

When referring to "turning eggs," it isn't really turning them upside down. (I know I thought that when I was new to incubating, too!). It is merely rocking them back and forth. The pointy end is always down. You can elevate one side of the carton for one turn, and the other side of the carton for the next turn.
