My birds have lice, I live in a rural area without ready access to a TSC / Peavey Mart and my local co-op / feed stores do not carry ivermectin, permethrin or any other common / approved insecticides. How do you get treatment products in Canada? Are there garden products that are safe to use on live birds or is there anywhere that will ship that my mad Google skills (lol) haven't been able to find?
I have been using small amounts of DE (only small amounts due to respiratory hazard) and we still have snow cover so are at least a month away from dry ground when they can get back to dusting.
I'm close to asking my parents that live in a big city with ready access to a local TSC to buy some in store and mail it to me but feel guilty asking them to go out for something that isn't necessary for them during a pandemic.
