Canary Eggs *5 out of 5 hatched* W/ PIX

My Canaries layed 5 eggs. I didn't really mark down a date but they should hatch soon. They take 14 days to hatch. I'm going to try to handtame. I have all the time in the world to tame them so I'm just awaiting the hatch!

All 5 hatched!!

How cool, good luck! Is it difficult to handtame/feed canaries? I fed a baby sun conure once, but never heard of anyone with hand tame canaries at any of the bird shows I attended.

Beautiful eggs! First time I have seen canary eggs.

I used to have a red factor canary but he died.

Nice! I want some finches, they are so tiny and sweet. Bought a cage for $6 at a yard sale, found them on Craigslist within a 45 min. drive from me, for $3 EACH if I buy more than 3, and I would like 4 . . .but cannot get the email to go through. I wish CL had a different contact system.

Good luck, be shure you know what your doing or you could hurt them, You should also wait till there at least a week old befor trying .

I'm handfeeding cockatiels soon too. I've done this many times before.
