x2!!!!! An average tire would allow a good number of birds to feed at once and old tires are easy to get!

Must keep this in mind! That is such a cheap way to make a feeder! Easier to clean too I'm sure. Awesome idea.

If you place the half tire on a slight slope, you can put water in the other end or set a bucket in the middle where they can reach it. Has worked great for many years.
