Candling chicken egg question? Pics attached

I have 4 chicken eggs. Which SHOULD be fertilized. But I am new to this all so I don’t entirely know. I went and bought a incubator. I have a nurture right 360. I used the candling light on it to check the 4 eggs. 2 eggs was laid yesterday and the other 2 today. I’m storing the eggs with the fat end of egg up, I was told this was best.

I watched this video on YouTube that showed how to look at a egg and see if it was fertilized with the candling and I am still struggling to tell without cracking my eggs open and looking. I cracked an egg 2 days ago & it was fertilized.

Anyways can anyone tell by looking at my candled eggs if they might be fertilized?

You typically can't see any growth, if fertilized, until about day 6. Until then, it's impossible without cracking them open.

Ok thank you! I will put them in and see what happens. We are gambling here but I have hope!

You need to make sure that you're trying to candle the eggs in a very dark room.
Also be sure that you're shining the light on the fat side of the egg. I'm not sure but I think you are shining the light on the small side in the pictures above.

I just reread your first post.
You cannot tell if an egg is fertilized or not just by candling before you have actually been cooking it in an incubator.

Earliest I can see if an egg is developing is DAY 3. Though clearest at DAY 4-5. Here is a photo at DAY 5.
