hello everyone i am new to this we have decided to hatch a batch of barred plymouth rock eggs but i am slightly concerned with my eggs they all look healthy embryo's have veins they are moving around but my question is that when i candle them they only seem to be in half/3 quarters of the egg and the rest looks empty (lighter) if you understand me? sorry slightly panicking i hope they are ok nothing looks amiss they look like the one in day 8 but mine have been laid on there side so it is vertical line thing

thankyou i just didn't want to hearthey are dead :hit lol i was tempted to but i feel like i don't want to disturb the little ones too much (my hubby said it would be easy)i am stressing nearly as half as much s when i ws pregnant oh lord lol

You have to set your humidity accordingly so that the air cell is sufficient enough for the developing chicks for when they hatch.

yes my humidity is aprox 50% as i was umming and arring on what was best i top up my water 100mls every couple of days i have a joneal12 incubator

don't get me wrong i have read re-read and triple read alot of information to make sure i knew what i was doing (as much as i cn) also youtube and i try to go with the middle mark on all information or the commen factors i feel like evrything thing should be right but i ws just kind of concerned with the half egg occupancy thing

yes we did we ran it for a few days before setting the eggs so it was a constant temp
