Candling Embden geese eggs

My Embden goose has been setting for seven days now and she will not leave her nest so I am wondering if I scare her of her nest and touch the eggs will she still come back and sit on them.

I slowly put a towel over my goose's head to candle. I only candled one egg and saw it was fertile, so I was happy with that. I did it at night, and she did not leave her nest. Geese are VERY protective of the nest. She does not have a gander protecting her, though. Do not be surprised if you get bit.

If she isn't eating or drinking you might out to make her come off the nest at least 1X day. Their health can really suffer. She needs to swim [get wet also to keep humidity up under neath her.

I go in when my goose is off the nest take the eggs put them into a box or basket lined with a small towel close the door so she can't go back in till I have candled. Once done I take them back place them in the nest and mama goes back inside, doesn't phase her at all. My feed room is dark if I leave the light off so I am not too far away from the broody's house and nest.

Don't understand what you mean. If you mean how to upload photos. look where you are posting see the smiley face count 5 to the left of smiley click on and this will be where you will go to your pics on your computer then you can pick the ones you want to upload.
