Candling fresh eggs to see if fertile? how do you?

i need to check some eggs to see if they are fertile or not how do i check to see if they are i heard that you can cadle th eggs when they are hatch, can you use a flashlight for this that has super pright leds or do you need special candling equipment?

I don't think you can tell if there fertile by candeling.
You can open one up and see if it has a ring.

Nope, the only way to tell if the egg is fertile without opening it is by incubating it for a while. Other than that, you have to crack the egg.

You can always incubate them and candle them on days 3-5 to look for development! That way you don't have to break them... but if you were to sell them to someone I would definitely break one open to see. If one or 2 are fertile chances are they all are!
