candling question: seramas and wyandottes

I am on day 7 with these eggs, I have 6 serama eggs and can easily see development in 5. I also have a doz wyandottes, the shell is darker and I cant see a thing. Is this normal, or did I get a bad doz. They are local and got them all from the same person. Also I was told that the serama eggs hatch in 19 days, but I cant find anything here to support that. Does anyone know? thanks
