Alright, ive been staring at the button quail color chart since i picked this quail up. Can't figure it out. To me she looks like a cinnamon (I think because of the almost white underplumage) but with SOMETHING in there that makes her lighter.

I only have ONE pic of of because she is shy and barely sits still when I pull out the camera. will update around next week where I will try to get some good close ups of her feathers and wings.

I COULD catch her tomorrow to take a few pics. my previous quail was a pure and perfect example of cinnamon, this one however has much lighter feather coloring than her so that's why i think she might have some other gene in her

Almost white with grey dusting with cinnamon, but blurry

That description, and what I can see from the pic, I’ll guess maybe silver, cinnamon, red breasted.
My camera man bailed on me, might get better pics later lol. (Also love how my roo blends into the shadows of the first pic)

What does grey dusting mean exactly?
Just what I like to say when the greys light on the white(looks like someone took grey powder sugar and dusted it on top the white sugar) but cinnamon lightens colors so it makes sense basicly what we all thought and what floor candy thought

The pale gray underneath looks the same color as my slate (cinnamon, silver, and blue face) and the darker splotches look like cinnamon, and the splotches darkest over the back like that seem like a trait from red breasted hens, so I’m still thinking cinnamon, silver, and red breasted. So red breasted slate.
