Can't get humidity higher. Tips?

Today is lockdown day and I am struggling to get my humidity up to 70% or higher. It will spike up but won't stay. I have 4 small, glass cups in there right now with hot water and have the water cells filled. Any tricks or tips?

What kind of incubator are you using?

Did you calibrate your hygrometer? They can often be quite incorrect. If you have done all of that, it's very likely your humidity is fine.

I had no other hygrometer to calibrate with but I did the salt cap test and after 8 hours it was 10% lower than it was suppose to be so I assume when it's in the incubator it's also reading 10% below which would mean it's only 40-50% humidity which is hard to believe because I have 4 small cups, a damp sponge, the cells full and I misted the eggs and still no increase. should I assume it's wrong and take some cups out?

Hmm, that's a toughie. I've never had or used a Little Giant, but that's what my neighbor uses.
Are you putting the lid on correctly? That's why my humidity was messed up.

Do you have any condensation in the corner of the windows? If so, that's plenty of humidity no matter what the instruments say.
