I need some advice. My entire flock has scaley leg mites after adopting a pair of Seramas. Ive cleaned out the coop. Shot permetrin and dic earth into the cracks and spread on roosts and floors. I bathed each one and applied vaseline to there legs. I have even given them ivermectin. I dont know what else to do. It is getting really bad on the seramas and im starting to get worried.

Buy a tube or two Nu-Stock at your feed store. It should be in the equine section. Shake the tube well and apply it wearing disposable gloves. Put it on all your roosts as well. That's how they are being transmitted from bird to bird. Nu-Stock is persistent.

Again...did you coat there legs a few days in a row? I believe that mine keep getting reinfected. Probably new eggs hatching.
Nope. Just once. It essentially suffocates the mites. The coating stays on a while, so when eggs hatch they die too. I tried Vaseline with no luck. A breeder who shows birds told me about the WD-40.
