No matter what, when given the chance to raise young, it apparently does not matter what species it is!
I have a momma cat who lives in the chicken coop and so we named her "Chicken" she keeps the mouse popuation down. She recently had kittens in the coop, in the nesting box (5). We would find my Blue Laced Red Wyandotte on the kittens sometimes but it was getting awful crowded in there so we moved them to the floor. When momma is not around, this wyandotte takes up baby sitting duty. In this pic Momma cat was behind the Wyandotte and just not feeding, letting the Wyandotte take a shift!
