The new camaros are nice too, waay out of my price range.

Chevy all the way. Had a 66 Chevelle SS 396/375hp. Walked all over the 389's. Got beat by one out of around 12 440's. Never raced a 426, those were very rare. The Duster 340 six packs weren't bad for a small block. Body style wasn't too good though. Did have a love for 71 Challengers and Bacaruddas. Great body style for Mopar, most of their cars were boxy. I did love the early Valiants and the slant 6 was a great engine.

Had a 71 Mach I with a 351 4V Cleveland too. Never got beat but that was in 79 when a lot of muscle cars weren't around anymore. Sat in a lot of gas lines with that car during the embargo. It was cool though.

It's amazing how fast the newer cars are though. All the new muscle cars go a lot quicker than the old ones. The 426's and 427's as well as the 419's and Ford 427's never got lower than 13.1 in the quarter in factory trim. That's pretty common now and you get an extra 5 mpg as well as much smoother running and serious handling.

The 69 charger can't be beat though. Best stock car ever made. They even brought back the tail light design in the 2011 charger.
