4H, you put that so well. I also think it's a testament to the quality of the community on this forum that we tried so long to help this (hopefully) imaginary suffering bird.

Thanks. The sad thing about that? I'M NEW TO CHICKENS and even I know the care they need and deserve. I'm a mom and when my kids joined 4h and decided on chickens, we put a good two months into researching the project before I even THOUGHT about ordering them. The wait was hard, but well worth it. My pay off has been that I've not lost a single of our chicks (minus the 3 we lost due to shipping).

I really, really hope there ISN'T a poor bird somewhere, locked in dark box, with poor food, no sun or air, no friends, little human contact, and treated worse than I would treat a rodent, and I dont like rodents. And I hope that the sick person that made him up reads this and leaves this lovely forum.

If there IS a poor soul living somewhere in a box, I hope the person that is TORTURING him this way does the RIGHT THING and gets him a new home NOW before too much damage has been done. You obviously CAN NOT provide the proper care he needs, since it took your 'parents' over a MONTH to just get him his freakin food for crying out loud, GIVE HIM TO SOMEONE WHO'LL LOVE HIM....NOW. Please. If you care at all about this creature, give him a new home or at least be humane and put him out of his misery, because his life is a meager shell of what it should be and you obviously can't do any better. Thats so sad.

4H, you hit it on the head:

If this is a child, she is not at fault. Her folks are. They appearantly lack human decency and compassion. If there is a Corn, I pray to God that someone finds him and rescues him soon...before its too late. If there isnt a Corn at all, then God save the person who is twisted enough to prey on the emotions of decent animal loving people.

Alas, the world seems to be filled with people who have too much time on their hands and too few active brain cells in their head.
Even sadder is that these people are content to pass on their ignorance to their children. I was not a child of priviledge, so I do not feel sorry for anyone who won't get educated, I had to struggle like so many others like me.
If false, then this person is getting a kick out of how many pages of responses he/she has generated. Drop it, close it, start another thread, whatever.
Let's not dwell in this thread any more and let it drop. Let's focus on the Save-A-Chick campaing/rally that's been proposed and on all the real requests for help in this forum.
