If i dont have any chicken wire can i use chicken wire to fit over the bator nad put the eggs on that. ?? Will it heat up enought.

For the flooring, chicken wiring is not advisable. You can get hardware wire scraps from the hardware store for a small piece enough to fit your bator. Cardboard can help in a pinch but you will have to replace for every hatch you do. It will be pretty flat that the eggs will roll around more so use paper pulp egg cartons for egg turners while incubating and use the top lid bottom part to set your eggs down to hatch if you want the eggs to lay down when hatching.

Just before the chicks hatch, you would want to put several layers of paper towels so the chicks would not get "splay footed" and easier for them to walk around. The Cardboard piece would be pretty slick for them.
