Care for long shipment ducklings

I ordered some silver appleyards from meyer they shipped out last night but instead of shipping from Ohio to here and it being a one day shipment they're shipping from San Jose California to South alabama. Can these guys take a little nutri drench like chicks if theyre looking a little pale. I've dealt with ducks a good bit but never have had any shipped from so far away.

Do you have an estimated arrival date? My Meyer shipments have all taken 2-3 days to arrive which is a pretty standard timeframe. You can use nutridrench, but I have found that for duck Poultry Cell works best especially for ducklings that might be struggling a little at first.

Nutri drench is fine for ducks. Hopefully it'll only take them a few days to get to you.

Just got my shipment info its saying Friday as of right now but they shipped out lastnight so that arrival could change to tomorrow and I hope it does. These aren't just some ducks we decided to get. My 10 year old son had some that just made 5 months old and 2 large dogs dug under 2 fences and killed them all while we were outta town. There's no way to replace that bond they had but these will get the love and care he gave to those. His birthday is this weekend and all he wants is a duck. He doesn't know these are coming so I'm praying this all goes smooth after what happend.
