Caring for each others' flock.

I live just outside Troy, NY. I would like to have chickens but am concerned about caring for the flock when I leave for a few days Would anyone in my area be interested in forming a "chicken coop care co-op group"?. (maybe a better name) Essentially, we would care for each others' flock when one of us is away. Anyone in Rennselaer county, New York interested??

If I had someone who was going to babysit my flock, I would be sure they wore disposable shoecovers (if they had poultry also). You can buy them online.
