I have three chickens. I had them for two years now, since they were chicks in a box in the living room. My son built a coop (my friends call it a hotel).
I knew nothing about chickens. Most of my chicken knowledge came from this web site and by observing the chickens.
My chickens have the entire back yard to roam during the day. The chickens return by themselves to the coop and I secure the door before dusk. Chickens are smarter than one may think they are.
My dog, DeeOhGee, watches over them to keep them safe.
