Cat attack! To euthanize or no?

hey guys,

My cat got at one of my chicks, near its butt. Though it’s walking around, its insides seem too be dragging... I should put it down, right? Is there any chance it will pull through?

Actually, I went ahead and put it down. Thought it was for the best. Was very sad as it was a very pretty chick, but I should have learned my lesson by now that my cat will wait as long as it takes to figure out how to breach my (copious) protections on the coops. :,(

awh at least the chick won’t be in pain anymore! if it’s insides were hanging out I really think it would have an extremely low survival rate at that age
