Cat-food addiction?

I know cat food is bad for chickens. My hens come trough the cat-flap whenever I'm not there and eat the leftover cat food. How do I stop it?

Well, when your cat has finished eating, put the bowl away. Or relocate it to a new place. Hens don't have taste buds so I don't think hot sauce would work

My cats are fed 2x per day. If they leave any it is usually not there for long. Foolish decision on their part.
They have learned that they had better eat their fill, or go hungry.

BTW- cat food is not bad for chickens, just not a healthy, nutritious choice for a regular food. A little bit is OK as a treat.
