Chirping
I've been having mice problems in my coop so a started to build a live catch mouse trap. I soon realized that I didn't have all the materials, so I locked our cat the coop for the night. When I got up in the morning to let the chickens out I found mouse guts on the floor. I was pleased to see that our cat caught something, until I also saw the feathers on the floor. Our cat had attacked one of the broody chickens. The broody chicken was just missing a couple feathers and had crushed a fertile egg with a chick inside during the struggle. NEVER lock a chicken and a cat up together! This may seem like an obvious but it seemed like a great idea at the time.
