Cat nicking/killing chicks

Does anyone have any advice on how to stop a cat coming into our garden?i Have some 8 week old silkies which are very small, did have 5 of them until 3 got taken by a cat. They were around 6 weeks old when taken & killed, have had to enclose the remaining 2 but feel very bad as they are desperate to be outside. I’ve always usually put chicks out free range from a young age and never usually had an issue.
How do I stop this cat coming into our garden and stealing our chicks?

There's usually not much you can do about the cat coming onto your property so the solution would be to have a proper predator proof pen for them outside.

You can't really stop the cat for being a cat, you need a secure place for your chicks or they need to be supervised.

The only way we stopped a cat was with dogs and a water hose. This required being outside with them though when they were out exploring the backyard.
