My son trapped my own stupid fat cat, harmless to chickens(the chicks were brooded in a ferret cage and large dog crate to protect them, by 9 weeks they were attacking the cats see Betty White? she always runs stray cats off the property backed by her flock mates Frankie and Francine, but can't figure out why her own cat Max is in a trap?), dangerous to wild birds(mostly the sparrows nesting on our property), moths, mice, wasps, spiders, rolly pollys, trap bait, unopened & unprotected cat or dog food sacks, and flower beds.
Just wanted to post because I sure wouldn't want anybody to kill him or hurt him! Same as I wouldn't want anybody to hurt the hens if they jump the fence and/or wander into the neighbors yard! I have introduced all my neighbors to my pets and chickens, and have asked them to please let me know if they are being naughty or causing them aggravation. Most all of us watch out for each others pets. I catch the neighbor dogs once in a while when they break the fence, and tolerate an occasional poop in the lawn they don't pick up in hopes they'll do the same for me and mine.
