Catching birds in Flight pens

Im planning on building a smaller flight pen, 12 feet X 6 feet for the footprint, sometime in the next few weeks. Where I'm currently living at is not permanent and will probably be moving in a year or two. For when the time comes, my question is, how do you catch birds in a flight pen without hurting them?

Enter the pen in the evening and with a minimum of commotion use a hand held fish net to scoop up birds. This is how I caught ring necks in a large flight pen.

Always do your catching in the dark with a flashlight. Trying to catch any bird in the day time is nothing but frustration for you and the birds.
