Why??? When i am feeding the fish they either knock it out of my hand or stick there whole head in the container! Then, they attempt to eat the whole thing!

Do the do it because they like the shrimp meal and stuff in the fish food? All i know is that their weirdos.

Because fish food is stinky! My cats like to try to eat the fish food too. We have to keep it way up on a high shelf that they can't get to (it's actually an overhang rather than a stand alone shelf) or else they will knock the container to the ground and destroy it, making a huge mess in the process.

I think the smell attracts them. Our ferret used to steal the fish food quite frequently, and hide it under my bed. She was kind enough to drop some for the dogs in the process. Algae disks were her favorite treasure.

Our catfish like cat biscuits.

Why do you suppose that cats like fish so much when they can hardly be proficient at catching them?
