Cats!

We've had a number of cats over the years, pets, strays, house cats, kittens, rescues, and porch cats. Just thought I share a few of the many stores we have.

This is Orange Cat. he was a stray that was at first scared of me but learned to be friendly. He was unfixed and we had to find a new home for him because he fought with our other cats. We did get him fixed, so hopefully he will stop fighting so much.

This is Tiger-tail (Tiger) after he got nearly killed by Orange Cat. He could barely stand and we brought him inside and kept him warm, comfortable and started him on antibiotics. He healed up completely. This is him bundled up in a blanket. His sister also got injured and came in with him for a few hours.

Pi is our stray male, also not fixed. He got hit by a car and suffered a terrible leg injury and eye injury. He has trouble hearing and seeing and can't really use his right front leg. He use to be terrified of me (I could sneak past him without him noticing), lately he has been getting better and tamer. It took him over a year to heal up. He's falling in love with our girls, though they don't care for him.

This is Genny, are tortie. She came to us because she was hunting too many birds in her old neighborhood. She is grouchy and doesn't like to be handled but she can be sweet also. They think she got hit by a car at her old house and regularly licks herself bald now. She recently lost her tail getting hit by a car again. It skinned the skin and hair right off the bone and she needed it amputated. She's doing well, but looks funny with her bob tail.

We even had a newborn kitten that suffocated at birth and mom brought it back to life by breathing into its mouth. We named her Miracle!

Omg you guys are so sweet! I would take in as many cats as I wanted if i could but i cant >.< i have a cat who is going threw something were he will itch and itch his head we had to put a cone on him. They all look super cute! Thanks for shareing your storys! :3

I hope your cat gets better soon!

As a funny side note, three people in our family are allergic to cats. We still have them.

Its why we keep most of them out in the barn though. The one who stays inside doesn't cause allergies.
