Take it from a pro... last head count tonight was 10 kids (5 mine), 2 parents, 3 dogs, 7 chinchillas, 2 horses, 1 rabbit, over 100 birds LOL, and 2 dozen hatching eggs in the incubator.... Gosh I hope I didnt forget anyone

No worries.
There's not many of us in my household but it gets interesting.
I work fulltime, a divorced mom to a 10 yr old daughter. I moved my parents in with me because of their health. Dad passed away last June here at home. Mom is still here and at times she's a bigger handful than the kid, the dog, the cat, and the 16 chickens.
Hope no one in your household wants goats. Mom wants those next.

You will do fine, I have an 8 year old, disabled husband, work as a realtor part time and I still want to have as many animals as we can afford. . . keeps me busy and I think its great for the kids.
