Cayuga ducks

I've raised two Cayuga ducks since they were a week old for the past three months. Well one of the ducks got out of the pen and something attack and killed my poor duck. Now I'm worried about my duck that is left. Should I get another duck sound the same age or a baby duckling. Will she accept the new duck. She seems depressed and I want to get her a companion.

Well since it's a female,get her a young drake,or a young female.For now,add a mirror.They may bite eachother,but will stop adventually.

Sorry for your loss. The best thing to do is post on the duck threads and see what duck folks advise. You can find them at "Other Backyard Poultry" forum above. I've never had ducks so I wouldn't want to offer suggestions.
