HI all,
I have a small hobby farm in Northern Ontario. 20 laying hens, 36 meat birds, 5 dogs, 1 cat that guards the "ladies".

Hi! I'm in Kawartha Lakes, ON - Just got my very first chicks this week and am really looking forward to this new adventure. Thought I'd start with 10 pullets (got 11), 6 Red Sex Links and 5 Columbian Rock X. They sure are cute...and messy! So far, so good. They're all doing what they are supposed to - eating, drinking, sleeping, playing and pooping. Sounds just like new babies!
How will I be able to tell if I got any cockerels in the mix, and how soon?
