Yeah, I have but they're insanely expensive for the amount you get compared to 'normal' feedIt seems that there is already feed out there that is gluten free. Have you looked for some?

According to what they said at the website, it's the wheat in most feed's that is used as a cheap fill that is causing your problem.Yeah, I have but they're insanely expensive for the amount you get compared to 'normal' feed
Perhaps I worded it wrong. I'm getting sick from feeding them. The dust, etc. I'm highly sensitive so when I feed my chickens I am in turn getting myself sick. Even with a mask on and gloves I've still managed to have some negative effects.Chickens are gluten free. Even if you feed them gluten in their diet. Stop eating their feed, you will have no problems.
If you do have problems eating eggs or meat from your own chickens, its not from gluten.
What website? Why are they qualified to make such pronouncements?According to what they said at the website, it's the wheat in most feed's that is used as a cheap fill that is causing your problem.
It's in post #2 above. What website? Why are they qualified to make such pronouncements?
Wheat, compared to corn, is expensive "fill", about 20% more expensive per bushel than corn. The premise doesn't make any sense at all. If they can't do basic math, its unlikely they can do chemistry.
How old is the feed??? What are the storage conditions its kept in??? Grains are susceptible to colonization by a number of organisms which can be quite detrimental to us, and our birds - such as aspergillus, and other sources of mycotoxins....Perhaps I worded it wrong. an advertiser. of no particular note, pushing a niche product. So, none at all. and while I appreciate that they offer unusually robust methionine numbers, though surprisingly low lysine, the fat and fiber content of their feed exceeds the recommends of every agency I am aware of, for every purpose of bird, and every stage of growth, except CX being fattened for table in the final weeks of life. It's in post #2 above.
