"Subsequent to the adoption of the 2011 LDC and the Official Zoning Map, an inadvertent error was identified in the LDC that extended the allowance for non-commercial agricultural activities to all properties zoned NC or NI, clearly in excess of historic allowances that were enjoyed by neighborhoods zoned R-A and several PUDs. At present, the City of Centennial is in the process of correcting this error and drafting regulations that would continue to permit non-commercial agricultural activities in residential zoning districts, consistent with historic allowances. The City is committed to facilitating a focus group meeting with a small group of representatives of neighborhoods zoned NC2A to develop the regulations and will conduct a larger community meeting to discuss the recommendations of the focus group and the development of non-commercial agricultural activity regulations in residential zoning districts."

Baisically what this means is that people like me who live in currently chicken allowed neighborhoods, will no longer because it was only by "mistake" that we were allowed to in the first place. There is a public hearing on July the 16th but unfortunately I (and the rest of the public) have work on mondays, how convienient. I will be sending an email regarding my thoughts on the matter and I need your help in constructing good valid arguments which are supported with actual research (not just hear-say). I dont want to have to pay a fee (aka: fine) to keep my chickens, cuz Ill be g******** if I get rid of them.
