Sadly, I am having to think about re-homing Perseus, our mixed breed two year old rooster. He suffered a serious eye injury while fighting with other roosters in our flock. Have been treating it, but it appears that after a couple of weeks, he probably will not regain full sight in his eye. It appears he may have SOME sight. He is very functional and healthy otherwise, except he has some slight frostbite on his comb. I am sure he can free range just fine, but I have some doubts about his ability to deal with the other roosters in our flock. He needs a FOREVER home with just hens. He is very gentle with the hens and actually prefers older hens. He is also very gentle with people, he's a big baby. His Mother was a black Jersey Giant. I can post a picture if anyone is interested. Will deliver within reason, or meet halfway. You must prove that you have an existing flock; forever home only!! Please PM me if interested Thanks.
