Cerritos, California? Anyone else trying to get the city to allow chickens?

It's time to raise some hens. My city currently does not allow it. Need help in getting the ordiance changed. Is there anyone here already doing this or am I on my own?

I did find someone else in Cerritos asking about the rules. Thank You. I've asked them to come to the City council meeting Thursday the 13th.

Not good. Didn't even go. Could not find one other person that would back me up. And I did a cost analysis of a chicken startup and the ROI would be for 6 years. I gave up.

I am 9 years in and I have not recouped the coop costs, but they bring me joy so there is that.
